Greetings from Puerto Rico!

May 17th, 2006 @ 6.21 pm

As I write this I’m sitting in the hotel lobby at the Embassy Suites in Dorado, Puerto Rico.  I flew in Monday morning for a startup of a machine our company is installing at a local plant down here.  During the day I’m working in a construction zone with spanish everywhere as my coworker and I are the only ones who don’t speak spanish, but we’re getting along, albeit being a bit sweaty as it’s constantly 85 degrees and 90% humidity.  Oh well, it could be worse, I won’t complain about being sent to a tropical island for two weeks.  And yes, the photo’s on the website are accurate, and I’ll try to post some of my own when I return.

This place is a really nice resort, but it’s a bit lonely here without Beverly.  At least there is my coworker and his family that I’ve been going out to dinner with (they have the car!), but when I’m by myself it is a bit lonely.  It’s not very fun to go exploring or sit by the pool by yourself.  Oh well, I guess I’ll have to go get another Pina Colada and sit under the palm trees : )

I am Jeremy

Come, have a look around. Take your shoes off. Enjoy. Read through my rantings and ravings, or see the latest photos from last weeks car show/ ultimate tournament.
