Things such as Hamburger Helper, or “stir fry.” I have to put “stir fry” in quotation marks, because who knows what I’ll make, but it generally tends towards chicken, vegetables, soy sauce and white rice on the side. Tonight I looked through the fridge and freezer, and found a pound of chicken, a bag of frozen bell peppers (pre sliced, ready to serve… after thawing), and a tub of leftover rice. This year Beverly and I spent our first Christmas together as a married couple (say “awww, how cute…”). I really didn’t want much, but she knew just what to get me. Not only did she get me a 50mm f1/8 lens for my camera, she also got me a flash and a new car! I took the photo of the car using the new camera equipment, just because I can. On Christmas day we spent some time here at the condo, and then late in the morning headed down to Anne Arundel County to see my family at my grandfathers, and then to see Beverly’s family and friends in Arnold.
