In an earlier post I mentioned that I would look for a 240Z to restore if I didn’t get an internship. Well, I didn’t, and I didn’t. Part of the reason I didn’t get a Z is it’s a sports car, and me plus horsepower = speeding ticket. So, instead I got a 1965 VW beetle a little over a week ago. Right now I’m working on tearing it down, sanding, and doing some mechanical modifications (lowering the front end, etc.). Hopefully I’ll have the exterior done before the semester starts, which is very likely considering the chassis is in beautiful shape due to the car being lovingly garage kept from day 1 through now. -ymerej

Well, it over. My grades aren’t as good as i’d like, but at least i passed. now it’s time to relax and let my brain start functioning properly again (you could probably mistake me for being stoned. . . in reality it was that much studying). since i have no internship, let alone a job, feel free to call me this summer, i’m most likely free (even if it’s last minute). if you don’t have my number, im or email me. -ymerej

Want to know why I haven’t posted in nearly a month? See the post from 3.3.03 - that should expain it. i even skipped Quadmania completely just to do homework. Oh well, only a couple more weeks. Oh, and I added a new screenshot - it’s of my workgroup from the Tennessee trip, minus Myoung who took the picture. -ymerej

For spring break I went with bsm to Tennessee for a week long work project, and it was simply amazing. Friendships were strengthened and new ones made, the weather was beautiful, and the work was a pleasure to do. I didn’t get to interact with too many locals, but rather I was able to serve by using my hands, which is how I feel God calls me to serve. I simply love to serve others by physically doing something, and for four days in a row I was outside working for around six hours each day. During one of the days I was almost seriously questioning why I’m going to school and not out in the world doing that kind of work for a living. -ymerej

Doing insane amounts of homework is no fun. You know how I know? Well, I’m doing it, and have been since last Monday (It’s now late Tuesday nite, one week later). I did homework every possible hour for the past week, and even pulled an all niter Sunday nite working on my lab report. I spent 34 hours working on that alone! The total one week time spent doing homework through Monday morning was something like 55 hours! If you never see me again this semester, you can count on me being a) in my room studying, or b) in the library studying. -ymerej
Come, have a look around. Take your shoes off. Enjoy. Read through my rantings and ravings, or see the latest photos from last weeks car show/ ultimate tournament.
