Ok, so I was a little depressed about my car when I last wrote. But look at it this way: I’ve had a drivable car less than 1/2 of this summer, which is time I planned on finally fully enjoying driving it. Right now it’s sitting on four jackstands, awaiting a new transmission (better gearing) and engine (slightly larger displacement = more power).

In other news, Purple Door is this weekend, and I have yet to find a job, but I have a lead to one at Mack Trucks, which I’m very excited about. And in other news, I mostly sit on my butt all day, or something close to that.

vw’s can be aggrivating. i was thinking i’d gotten my vw fixed from it’s nagging leaks by replacing most of the external seals on the engine and transmission. well, after a tank of gas, it’s official. it leaks worse than ever! my next solution is going to be 1) find a job so i can 2) save some money (there’s $30 in my wallet now…and that’s all folks!) and then eventually (minimum wage doesn’t pay much) 3) buy a new transmission and maybe a new engine, or simply throw the 40-horsepower one back in (it ran like a dream when i pulled it, but leaking status is unknown…but the engine is free (and numbers matching for the car!))

ok, so i would like to point out that your schedule is missing some important dates. i.e PURPLE DOOR! and ummmmmm Christmas. And your birthday. And the day marshmellows were invented. Where would we be today without the invention of marshmellows. I can hardly bear the thought.
